Havana and Kinja

Havana is the pit-mix on the right. Kinja is a shepherd mix (left).

"Honestly, we were not told she was a pit when we adopted her, otherwise we most likely would not have taken her in. When we took her to the vet, we were told by the vet that he thought she was a pit. Then, one of the groomers thought she was a pit. Then, we put her in obedience training and the trainer (who owns and works with pits) said she was almost certain our new puppy was a pit. So, we researched tons (and I still look stuff up whenever I think of it), and I (and my once-skeptical wife) are convinced...

Havana must have our attention and affirmation, and has more energy than a group of 5 years olds at Chuck E Cheese, but she is very loyal, very obedient, and loves to play with other dogs, cats and people. We are very glad to have her, and will seek pit bulls in the future."
